Urban Flow have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to become a key part of our team. We have a great portfolio of high profile projects and clients, and work in a great office location in Clerkenwell, central London.
The projects we work on are very varied including: transport assessments, master planning, placemaking and street design, parking schemes, travel planning, cycling scheme design, town centre improvements, bus operations, servicing, access and movement studies, and more.
We work with a wide range of clients and teams too - public realm designers, architects, developers, local and regional authorities and universities amongst others. Your work will be equally varied, offering a great chance to get involved hands-on with planning better movement and places.
At Urban Flow, we work to make complex matters more straightforward, doing all we can to communicate our work clearly. So along with the skills below, we need someone able to present their work in an engaging way for our clients and others in multi-disciplinary teams. The specific core skills and capability we’re looking for include:
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Good communication skills
Technical drawing ability, CAD proficiency preferred
Proficiency with all core Microsoft software – Excel, PowerPoint
Presentational ability – hand drawing, graphics package(s) proficiency preferred.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of three years’ experience of UK-based transport planning / traffic engineering with a demonstrably strong record of performance in task and project delivery and collaborative team working. Your personal characteristics will include:
